Values over 1 are fine. I just said the common range was -1:+1.
Bels are used as a unit to describe any value derived from a logarithmic function such as in this case. Don't worry about Bels vs Decibels; it's not relevant. There is also no need to convert the raw values. This is just done in the app because some people ascribe significance to negative values when they should not.
123 is correct for 1.46, though as I said there is no need to do this.
