constant signal pattern in frontal electrodes

Post by Nivs »

Hello,
I've been trying to obtain powerbands from all sensors.
The app shows that the singnal of both frontal (AF7, AF8) electrodes is a constant wave (1st picture).
As a result the power bands for these electrodes is 0 (stays constant at 50db, 2nd picture).

I've tried changing the notch filter to 50 (in my country) and 2 different muse devices.
what could be the problem?

Thanks,
Niv

AF7 and AF8 are not properly connected to your head. For a good connection you want minimal min max variance with large spikes only when you blink.
In your screenshot TP9 is good, TP10 could be better but is ok.
