How to Interpret Changes to Signal Quality

Hi all. Has anyone noticed a change in signal quality during a recording session WITHOUT any movement to the Muse headband? I have been recording longer sessions (30-45 minutes) and I've noticed that I can start out with really "flat" lines (i.e. low signal noise) but then a few minutes later I have high signal noise (example in screenshot below). During this recording session, I was sitting still, so the headband was not jostled (the sensors were not moved). My brain activity did change (because I switched tasks), but I don't know how that might affect signal quality, unless I'm interpreting this portion of the app incorrectly.
