Re: PPG Information HRV - Muse-2

After enabling the setting and you will see the data in the Accelerometer/Gyro page and also in the recorded and streamed data, but you need to disconnect and re-connect the Muse the first time you enable the setting.

Re: Sampling Rate

No. There is 256 times less data, when you record at the default one second recording interval. There's no way to make up that data after the fact.

Re: Muse Data Questions

#1 - Each electrode can be analysed individually, but you're taking a reading from skin contact and there's a whole lot of brain under that, so it's going to be indicative of an area. #2 - The electrodes measure voltage, so anything that makes voltage will register. Static, Muscle movement etc. That...

Re: brain waves dipped below zero

Anything more than ~50uV from the mean is a bad, so here you can see a lot of that. Uncheck any sensor that is outside of this and then look at your graph again. AF7 and AF8 are bad throughout the session and the grounding connecter is between them, so I'm sorry, but I think this whole recording is ...

Re: Absolute vs. Relative?

Absolute and Relative basically show the same information, the difference is that the Relative graph is normalized to a standard 0-1 scale.

Re: brain waves dipped below zero

Look at the RAW EEG, if you see big spikes there, then the electrodes lost connection.

Re: brain waves dipped below zero

If you hover over the data point markers you'll see: J - Jaw Clench, BF - Bad Fit, GF-Good Fit.
I'd say that the Muse electrodes were no longer connected properly after you were shaking.

Re: Peak Alpha Frequency?

You need to use the RAW EEG, eg. RAW_AF7 is the raw data from the AF7 sensor.
The FFT will then give you frequency bins, the granularity of which will depend on your FFT window. Each bin will corrospond to a frequency range.

Re: Peak Alpha Frequency?

That's something that you can calculate from the recorded RAW EEG data by using an FFT. The Math for an FFT is here: https://www.rosettacode.org/wiki/Fast_Fourier_transform To get the data you will need, set the "Recording Interval" in settings from it's default of 1 data point per second ...
