Re: Is it possible to use Muse S and a Muse 1 or 2 with Mind Monitor at the same time?
Finally received an answer from Dreem. The Dreem headband is still available for research (but not for the general public). Therefore a valided sleep tracker based on the Mind Monitor with EEG data still would be helpful for the general public.

Thanks for your answer, James. Well, you can use two different smartphones to solve the Bluetooth problem, it is about two different apps. One smartphone can run the Mind Monitor app, and one running the Muse app. Concerning the sensor contact, I will try it all the same.

Is it possible to use Muse S and a Muse 1 or 2 with Mind Monitor at the same time?
I am a neuroscientist working on a research project about meditation. I wanted to buy a Dreem2 sleep tracker. But there was no response from Dreem 2. Do they sell the product only with an expensive price plan? Dr. Coady Rall from Tech for Psych has put the device on the list of the devices which he ...

Re: Real time feedback on my brain waves
Programmers sometimes have this problem. I don t know whether there is an application for the Muse headband which can do this. Dave Lusty from Microsoft UK developed a system with a Garmin watch which gives him a «beep» when his heart rate is to high. There are other applications which can do this. ...

Re: Mind Monitor Python OSC Examples
Do you mean to use Octave instead of Home Assistant? Great idea. EEGLAG runs also in Octave. Maybe Nils Knieling who is an excellent programmer stopped his livestreaming service for stability or accuracy reasons? I don t know whether Home Assistant can deal with physiological signals. I also don t k...

Re: Mind Monitor Python OSC Examples
Thank you, James for your great Mind Monitor Python OSC Examples. Thank you, banjo to demonstrate, that it can be connected to Matplotlib. For future developement, I suggest to connect the Python OSC Example to the Home Assistant platform, to store sensor data in InfluxDB and vizualize it in Grafana...

Skilled programmer wanted to connect Android Apps to Home Assistant
I am evaluating a project to combine sensor data from Mind Monitor App, Polar Sensor Logger App, and a training tracker app. The optimal way to do this would probably be to stream the sensor data from the different apps into an InfluxDB. Polar Sensor Logger app has an MQTT interface and can be conec...

Re: OSC and LSL together in a chain
I am a physiologist with a long-term interest in live-streaming options for the Muse headband. For LSL and the Muse headband, there are already options available. When James Clutterbuck also is working on LSL, that is fine. I reviewed several options for live-streaming for physiological devices, and...

Re: Mind Monitor Python OSC Examples
Thanks, James, for these great examples. I am currently evaluating an easy way for non-programmers to stream EEG sensor data to a research grade application. I found that the Home Assisant software could be helpful. It allows to install an MQTT broker, it has InfluxDB and Grafana plugins, and it all...
